ABOUT SEEDBED KIDS

Founded on January 6, 2012, Seedbed is a twenty-first-century movement and media platform whose mission is to gather, connect, and resource the people of God to sow for a great awakening. Since that beginning, Seedbed has been committed to producing print, digital, electronic, and web-based applications designed to equip people to live into the second half of the gospel. (See seedbed.com/about to learn more about what that means.)

As more and more local churches were adopting Seedbed resources as their primary adult curriculum, Seedbed began to receive frequent requests for children’s resources of the same caliber. Such requests led to the launch of Seedbed Kids and, with it, the Trackers curriculum.

Seedbed Kids, beginning with Trackers, develops its discipleship resources for children on the ancient foundations of canon and creed. Trackers is steeped in the canon of Scripture—the Word of God as contained in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible and uniquely expressed through the revelation and reign of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God. Trackers is anchored in the Trinitarian orthodoxy of the apostolic faith once delivered to the saints, as expressed in the great ecumenical creeds of the church. Seedbed Kids resources stand in the orthodox streams of the Christian faith and are influenced by the rich theological and missional vision of the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition.

ABOUT TRACKERS

Trackers is a program designed to develop the basics of Christianity in our children, instilling in them a knowledge of where truth is found, examples of Biblical “Trackers of Truth,” and a desire to seek truth for themselves.

Using a mixed agriculture and time-travel theme, the children will go through the Old Testament in chronological order, learning many highlights of the Old Testament stories. At the same time, they will learn of the many glimpses of the coming Savior, as revealed in the New Testament. They will soon understand that in the Old Testament, Jesus was present but concealed, whereas in the New Testament, Jesus was revealed. Each week, the children will also learn practical lessons of personal application to assist them in their own spiritual growth.
